Company Settings - Links & Social

Where to set your outlet's Website, Portal Site URL, and social media links, and how they map to template merge variables.

Written by Andy Hornbeak

Each of your outlets (locations) can store its website, Customer Portal link, and social media pages in one place. Once filled in, these links can be inserted into invoices, emails, and other templates using merge variables, and reused anywhere else your outlet's public links need to appear.

Navigate to Company Settings → Company → Locations, open the outlet you want to update, and scroll to the Links & Social section.

What It's For

Merge Variable

Website

Your outlet's main website address.

{{outlet_website}}

Portal Site URL

The address of your Customer Portal / online booking portal login page. This is the link to use for a "Book Now" or "Reserve a Slip" button on your website or in marketing.

Instagram URL

Link to your outlet's Instagram page.

{{outlet_instagram}}

Facebook URL

Link to your outlet's Facebook page.

{{outlet_facebook}}

YouTube URL

Link to your outlet's YouTube channel.

Each outlet has its own set of these fields — if you have more than one location, fill in each one separately. A blank field means the matching merge variable and any button or link built from it will be empty on that outlet's templates.

Important: Portal Site URL must be set to the same address as your outlet's Online Booking site — the address your Sharper implementation team configured under Company Settings → Reservation Settings → Online Site URL. These are two separate settings that don't sync with each other. If Portal Site URL is left blank, it doesn't show an error — the button or link that was supposed to use it (Book Now buttons, Customer Portal Invite emails, AutoPay Enrollment emails) will simply be missing from the email or page with no indication anything went wrong. If a customer says a portal or booking email "has no button" or a link doesn't work, check this field first.

Using These Links

These fields don't push content anywhere automatically — a template only pulls a link in when it's built to include that merge variable. To use them:
