New customers: If the customer does not yet have a record in Sharper, create them first in CRM → Customers before creating the reservation.
This guide covers how to find, edit, update the status of, and cancel existing Marina reservations.
Finding a Reservation
From the left navigation pane, click Marina.
Click Reservations on the top ribbon.
Use the search bar and filters to locate the reservation:
Filter | What It Does |
Customer Name | Search by the customer's display name |
Vessel Name | Search by the vessel's name |
Space | Filter to a specific slip |
Status | Filter by reservation status (Reserved, Confirmed, Checked In, Checked Out, Cancelled, Waitlist) |
Booking Type | Filter to a specific Booking Type |
Date Range | Filter by reservation start or end date |
Click on the reservation row or the Edit button to open it.
Editing a Reservation
You can change any part of a reservation after it has been saved, including dates, vessel, space, pricing, notes, and accounting settings.
Locate and open the reservation.
Click the Edit button at the top of the reservation summary screen.
Make the necessary changes.
Click Save.
Changing a reservation's dates, space, or vessel will re-evaluate dimension compatibility and availability. If the new configuration conflicts with space constraints, the system will warn you. You can override constraints using the No Rules option in Advanced Search.

Select the desired status action (Check In, Check Out, Cancel, or any custom status).

External Notes | Printed on the customer's invoice — visible to the customer |
Cancelling a Reservation
Open the reservation.
Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the reservation summary screen.
Select Cancel.
Confirm the cancellation.
Cancelling a reservation does not automatically issue a refund. Any payments already collected must be refunded manually in CRM → Invoices. Review any applicable cancellation policy with the customer before proceeding.
After cancellation, the reservation will appear with a Cancelled status and will no longer occupy the space in availability. The space becomes immediately available for new bookings.
Waitlist Reservations
Creating a Waitlist Reservation
Begin creating a new Advanced Reservation as usual.
In the Advanced Search drop-down, toggle on Wait List.
Complete the rest of the form and save. The reservation is saved with Waitlist status and no space assigned.
Viewing Waitlist Reservations
Go to Marina → Reservations.
In the Status filter, select Waitlist.
Converting a Waitlist Reservation to Active
When a space becomes available:
Open the waitlist reservation.
Click Edit.
Open the Advanced Search drop-down.
Toggle off Wait List.
Click Search to find available spaces.
Select the space and save.
The reservation moves to Reserved or Confirmed status depending on whether a deposit is required and has been paid.
Availability Tape Chart
Click Availability on the top ribbon.
Use the date picker to center the view on the date you want to examine.
Filter by Booking Type or Space Group if needed.
Status colors:
Orange/Yellow = Reserved or Reserved Online
Blue = Confirmed
Green = Checked In
Gray = Space Blackout. Click any reservation block to open that reservation.
