Promo codes are a powerful tool for driving sales and engaging customers. They offer a cost-effective way to attract new customers, retain existing ones, and encourage repeat purchases. Additionally, they can be tracked and analyzed to measure the success of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Overall, promo codes are a valuable asset for businesses looking to boost sales and build customer loyalty.

  1. When creating promo codes in the Booking, Campground, or Marina modules, the initial step is to navigate to the Settings page of the respective module using the ribbon located at the top.

  2. Proceed by clicking on the Promo Codes tile.

  3. In the top right corner, choose Add New.

Assigns a name to the promo code.

Code

Specifies the code customers need to enter when making a reservation.

Enabled

Allows manual activation or deactivation of the promo code.

All Orders

By enabling this option, specific constraints are disregarded, making the promo code applicable across a wide range of reservations. Further details on this feature can be found in the Rules section.

Creation Start and End Date

Defines the period during which the promo code is valid if the booking was CREATED between these two dates.

Bookable Start and End Date

Specifies the period during which the promo code is valid if the booking is SCHEDULED between these two dates.

Number of Uses

Sets the maximum number of times the code can be utilized.

Minimum and Maximum Price

Establishes a price threshold that must be met before the promo can be applied.

If All Orders is activated, all subsequent options below this point will be disabled.

Days

Selects the days when the promo can be applied, based on the reservation's scheduled dates rather than its creation date.

Minimum and Maximum Duration

Specifies the minimum number of days required for the booking before the promo can be applied.

Minimum and Maximum Book in Advance

Determines the number of days before the booking's scheduled arrival date that the booking must be made.

Required Products

Specifies a mandatory product that must be booked for the promo code to be applicable.

Available Products

Identifies the products eligible for the promo code.

blue book Applying the Promo Code as a User

There are two methods for users to apply the promo code to a reservation, depending on whether All Orders is enabled or disabled.

All Orders is On

  1. Access the saved reservation.

  2. In the top right corner, click on Options.

  3. Select Price Adjustments and apply the promo code by toggling and saving.

All Orders is Off

If the promo code is created with All Orders off, a Price Adjustment is automatically generated. To apply the promo code, this price adjustment must be added to each product where the promo should be available.

  1. Navigate to Products using the top ribbon.

  2. Choose the product where the promo should apply.

  3. Click on Booking Setup on the left.

  4. Scroll down to Extras / Price Adjustments and ensure the promo code is selected.

  5. Save the changes.

Upon making a reservation, the promo code will be visible in the price adjustments section and can be applied by the user accordingly.
