Reports - Favorites and Dashboard Pinning

How to mark reports as Favorites and pin them to the Reports landing page for quick access in Sharper MMS.

Updated this week

Sharper gives you two ways to surface your most-used reports for quick access: Favorites and Dashboard Pinning. Both are set when creating or editing a report and control how the report appears on the Reports landing page.

Favorite Reports

Marking a report as a Favorite adds it to the Favorites section at the top of the Reports landing page. This saves you from navigating into a specific module section every time you want to run a frequently used report.

Favorites are personal — only the user who enabled the Favorite toggle will see the report in their Favorites section.

Adding or Removing a Favorite

  1. Select Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Navigate to the module section the report belongs to and find the report.

  3. Select Edit (pencil icon).

  4. Enable or disable the Favorite toggle.

  5. Select Save.

The report will appear in or be removed from the Favorites section on your Reports landing page immediately.

Pinning a Report to the Reports Landing Page

Any saved report can be pinned to appear as a card on the All view of the Reports landing page. Pinned reports are visible to all users who have access to Reports — they appear grouped under their module section on the landing page.

Pinning or Unpinning a Report

  1. Select Reports in the left navigation pane.

  2. Navigate to the module section and find the report.

  3. Select Edit (pencil icon).

  4. Enable or disable the Dashboard toggle.

  5. If pinning, enter a Dashboard Caption — this is the label shown on the report card. Keep it short and descriptive (e.g., "Monthly Slip Occupancy" or "Today's Z-Out").

  6. Select Save.

The report card will appear in or be removed from the Reports landing page for all users with Reports access.

A report can be both a Favorite and Dashboard-pinned at the same time. Favorites are personal quick-access shortcuts; Dashboard pins are shared across your team.
