Marina - Attachments

There are various areas within Sharper where you can upload essential documents such as IDs and insurance. If you have a file saved on your computer, you can easily upload it as an attachment in Sharper.

The initial part of this guide outlines the different sections where attachments play a role. Subsequently, the steps for adding attachments remain consistent across all these areas.

Booking, Campground, and Marina Reservations

  1. Access any of these modules and choose Reservations from the top ribbon.

  2. Open any reservation by clicking on it.

  3. Look for the Attachments button at the top right corner.

Invoices

  1. Navigate to CRM using the left-hand navigation pane.

  2. Click on Invoices from the top ribbon.

  3. Select an invoice to view.

  4. Locate the Attachments button at the top right corner.

Customers

  1. Go to CRM using the left-hand navigation pane.

  2. Click on Customers from the top ribbon.

  3. Choose the specific customer.

  4. Find the Attachments button at the top right corner.

Vessels and Vehicles

  1. Navigate to Marina or Campground using the left-hand navigation pane.

  2. Click on Vessels or Vehicles from the top ribbon.

  3. Select the desired Vessel or Vehicle.

  4. Look for the Attachments button at the top right corner.

Once you have located the attachment option, follow these steps to add your file.

  1. Click on Attachments.

  2. Choose Upload Attachment.

  3. You may see an attachment Type on the left, which is optional. More information on attachment types is provided at the end of this guide.

  4. Click Select to open your computer's file explorer.

  5. Pick the file and click Upload.

Attachment types enable users to categorize files related to customers, vessels, and reservations effectively.

  1. Access System Settings from the left-hand navigation pane.

  2. Select the Attachment Types tile.

  3. Click on the Add New button at the top right.

  4. Provide a Name for your type.

  5. Choose the relevant Entity where the attachment type should be visible. For instance, selecting the Customer entity will display this attachment type exclusively in the CRM-> Customers section.
