Meter readings track electricity consumption at each slip. Use the Meter Read Batch to record readings for all slips at once and generate invoices automatically.
Adding Meter Readings
From the left navigation pane, click Marina.
Click Meter Readings on the top ribbon.
Click Meter Read Batch in the top right corner.
The Meter Read Batch screen will open with the following options:
Field | Function |
Space Group | Groups the batch by Space Group, letting you work through one section of the marina at a time. |
Reading Date and Reading Time | The date and time the physical reading was taken. |
Invoice Date | The date that will appear on invoices generated from this batch. |
Service Charge | Optional flat charge applied for the act of reading meters, if your marina uses one. |
Invoice Now | When enabled, invoices are generated automatically when you save the batch. |
Auto Pay | Does not immediately run autopay. Marks the generated invoices as eligible for autopay when the CRM autopay batch is later processed. |
Payment Term | Invoice payment term. Leave blank to use the system default. |
Previous Reading | The last recorded meter reading. Filled automatically after the first batch. |
Current Reading | The reading taken today. The system calculates the charge based on the difference. |
Set the Reading Date and Reading Time to when the physical reading was taken.
Enter the Invoice Date.
Optional — Enable Invoice Now to generate invoices automatically on save.
Enable Auto Pay if you want the generated invoices to be eligible for CRM autopay processing.
Leave Payment Terms blank to use the system default, or select a specific term if needed.
Going down the list, enter the Current Reading for each meter.
When finished with the current Space Group, click Save in the top right.
Confirm the Save button turns green, then use the Space Group selector to switch to the next group.
Repeat Steps 6–8 for each Space Group until all readings are recorded.
First-Time Setup: On your first batch, enter both the Previous Reading and the Current Reading for each meter. For all subsequent batches, only the Current Reading is needed — the previous reading is carried forward automatically.
You cannot save a batch if any Current Reading equals the Previous Reading. If a meter has not changed, leave that meter's Current Reading field empty.
Filtering Meter Readings
The meter readings list can be filtered to narrow results before creating a batch or reviewing entries.
Filter | Use |
Space Group | Narrow the list to a specific dock section or space group. Useful when processing meter readings for one section of the marina at a time. |
Power Meter Type | Filter by meter type (e.g., 30A, 50A, 100A) to review or process readings for a specific service level only. |
Status | Filter to show only invoiced or non-invoiced readings to confirm what has been billed versus what is still pending. |
