To delete a register - please do the following:
Point of Sale -> Registers -> Select Three Dot menu dropdown
Delete
If this allows deletion - Done.
If this does not allow deletion and gives and error: See Inactive Toggle instruction below.
If any prior transaction is tied and saved to a register - the option to delete the register is no longer possible.
"POS" couldn't be deleted. Error: Item in use!
Deactivate a POS Register
To deactivate a register, this can be accomplished by editing the register and toggling ON the Inactive Toggle. please do the following:
Point of Sale -> Registers -> Find "Ship Store" -> Edit Register
Register Edit - General Tab: scroll down to "Inactive" toggle. (demo screenshot attached with highlight below)
