Campground - Power Meter Types

How to configure power meter types in the Campground module, defining the utility service categories used for meter billing.

Power meter types define the electrical service categories available at your campground — for example, 30 Amp or 50 Amp hookups. They are used to categorize meters and filter meter readings by service type. Meter types are typically created during initial setup, but can be added any time your campground expands or changes its hookup offerings.

Before You Begin

No prerequisites required. Any staff user with Campground module access can create and manage power meter types.

How to Create a Power Meter Type

  1. From the left navigation pane, click Campground.

  2. Click Settings on the top ribbon.

  3. Select the Power Meter Types tile.

  4. Click Add New in the top right corner.

  5. Enter a Name for the meter type — for example: 30 Amp or 50 Amp.

  6. Enter the Amperage.

  7. Enter the Voltage.

  8. Click Save.

Note: Amperage and voltage are for reference and filtering only — they have no effect on billing. The rate charged per meter read is set by the billing product assigned to each individual meter. See Campground - Power Meters.

Next Step

Once your meter types are in place, create the individual meter records and assign them to sites. See Campground - Power Meters.
