CRM - Sending Customer Portal Instructions

During the initial set up of Sharper a template containing a guide is sent to the current customer base that gives step by step instructions on how to login to the online customer portal for the first time. It also includes information to include a payment method. By using the reporting functionality, the instruction template can be sent to very specific customers.

  1. Navigate to CRM β†’ Customers

  2. Near the top right hand side of the screen select Marketing Email

  3. Select the Customer Portal Instructions marketing template

  4. Select an individual customer or leave it blank.

  5. Select a Customer List Report. Anybody who would appear on the report that is selected will receive this marketing template.

It is highly recommended to send yourself the template to test. You may need to create yourself as a customer first.
