Spaces are managed in the Campground module. To prevent spaces from being booked, you can choose to blackout spaces for a certain time period. Follow the steps below to create space blackouts.
Creating Blackout Spaces
Navigate to the Campground module.
From the menu ribbon select the Settings button.
Click the Space Blackouts tile.
Select the Add New button.
Fill out the form using the field table shown below.
Field Name | Description |
Name (Required Field) | Give the blackout space a unique identifier. |
Booking Type (Required Field) | Select the Booking Type for the spaces to display. |
Booking Units | Select the spaces that are affected and need to be blacked out for Campground. |
Start Date | Enter the date to start the blackout period. |
Start Time | Enter the time to start the blackout period. |
End Date | Enter the date to end the blackout period. |
End Time | Enter the time to end the blackout period. |
Type (Required Field) | Select the blackout type

Map Color | Select map color if you would like different from default. |
Click the Save button.
Updating Blackout Spaces
Navigate to the Campground module.
From the menu ribbon select the Settings button.
Click the Space Blackouts tile.
Enter the Blackout Space Name to update.
Click the Edit button.
Complete edits to the following fields shown below.
Field Name | Description |
Name (Required Field) | Give the blackout space a unique identifier. |
Booking Type (Required Field) | Select the Booking Type for the Spaces to display. |
Booking Units | Select the spaces that are affected and need to be blacked out for Campground. |
Start Date | Enter the date to start the blackout period. |
Start Time | Enter the time to start the blackout period. |
End Date | Enter the date to end the blackout period. |
End Time | Enter the time to end the blackout period. |
Type (Required Field) | Select the blackout type

Click the Save button.
